                               RESOLUTION NO. 19669
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
                   FORTY-EIGHT (48) MONTH AGREEMENT WITH SOUTH
                   CENTRAL BELL TO PROVIDE FLEXSERV SERVICE FOR
                   THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
                   FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL
                   NECESSARY DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of a 48-month Agreement, a copy of which is attached
       hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with South Central
       Bell to provide FlexServ service for the City of Chattanooga - 
per
       DS0 channel one-time $10.75 installation, $6.35 per month; per 
DS1
       channel one-time $260.00 installation, $132.00 per month; and
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Finance Officer be
       and is hereby authorized to execute any and all necessary
       documents relating thereto.
